The Doris Ulmann Galleries, at Berea College in Berea, KY, are requesting proposals for solo shows for two academic years, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019. Berea College is an undergraduate work college that offers a BA in Art with concentrations in Studio Art and Art History. The galleries support student learning across the curriculum. We have three changing exhibitions spaces: Rogers Gallery, Upper Traylor Gallery, and Lower Traylor Gallery.

All media are welcome. Submissions will not be considered from those currently enrolled in an undergraduate academic program. Gallery provides postcards, press releases, a modest honorarium, and insurance coverage in transit and on-site. Artist is responsible for framing, shipping, and/or delivery. Send 15-20 images along with a one-page artist statement and a CV.

The Ormond Memorial Art Museum is accepting submissions from artists in a variety of styles and media for exhibitions in late 2017 and 2018.
Individual and small group submissions are welcome. The museum is not able to cover shipping costs of work.

Exhibition at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum is open to any artist or collaborative of artists submitting original works of art or design created within the past three years.

The Art Gallery at the University of Cincinnati, Blue Ash College (UCBA) is accepting submissions for solo and group exhibitions for the 2016-2017 season. UCBA is located just north of Cincinnati and the gallery has approximately 100 sq ft of exhibition space housed in an old school building just off campus. The Gallery is considering works in all media, please see the prospectus link for submission guidelines. Submissions will be accepted from artists residing in the United States, with preference to artists within a 200 mile radius of Cincinnati. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, but first consideration for upcoming season given to those submitted by June 30, 2016.

** Moderator’s note: Nashville is about 70 miles outside of the 200 mile radius but artists in Kentucky should be well within the boundary. Don’t let that deter you from applying though! (all calculations done very unscientifically via googlemaps)

The Joan Derryberry Art Gallery at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN invites individual artists to submit proposals for exhibition 

opportunities during the Academic years 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.  We welcome submission in all mediums except digital and performance.

Each exhibition runs for approximately 4 weeks and culminates with a gallery talk given by each exhibiting artist.  We cannot accept exhibitions that

exceed a single day of exhibition install. Accepted artists are awarded a stipend along with expenses.  Our non-profit gallery is centrally located in the

Roaden University Center on the main campus of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. The gallery ceilings are 10’ high; the floor space

measures 35’ x 30’ and the running wall space totals 115 feet.  No works may be installed from the ceiling.

Requirements for submissions:- 8 JPEG digital images and an artist statement of no longer than 100 words- JPEG digital images

1708 Gallery invites US-based and international artists, and curators, to submit proposals for the 2017 and 2018 exhibition seasons. Students with an anticipated graduation date of May 2016 are eligible to apply for exhibitions in 2017, and graduates in May 2017 for exhibitions in 2018. 1708 Gallery strongly encourages proposals for developing projects and bodies of work. In addition to proposals for exhibitions in the 1708 Gallery space, public works and other non-gallery based projects will be considered.

Selected proposals will be given an exhibition period of approximately six weeks, a $1000 honorarium, and shipping, travel, installation and exhibition support.
