Sarratt Gallery at Vanderbilt University is preparing for the 2017 exhibition calendar through this call. The jury will award solo, duo, and small group exhibits based on applications. The Exhibition Calendar begins January 2017 and runs through November 2017. This call is open to fine and craft-based artists in all mediums except film/video and performance art. Artist(s) agree to pay for shipping of work to the Gallery and the Gallery pays for return shipping. A sales commission of 30% is retained by the Gallery. Artists should have work from the application available for the exhibit as well as work that continues in the series they have presented. Sarratt Gallery is located on the main floor of Sarratt Student Center and is visited by 500+ people daily and is also the center for many major receptions, conferences, and lectures hosted on campus which creates a larger audience for our exhibits and artists.

Call for Art: Antenna, New Orleans, Louisiana
Individual Visual Artists or Collaboratives working in any media are encouraged to apply to the Antenna: Open Call. One applicant working outside of Louisiana will be selected and awarded a solo show for the 2017 calendar year, given an honorarium of $1,000 (split amongst the group, if collaborative) paid shipping, paid travel to and from New Orleans for the install and opening of the exhibition, accommodations in Antenna’s residency space, and access to Antenna’s print facilities to publish an exhibition catalog or other similar ephemera to be determined by the artists.

Please Hold Magazine is a St. Louis based online multimedia arts and literary magazine with an emphasis on publishing new and unconventional media. This includes but is not limited to video work, interactive art/writing, animated GIFs, experimental music, flash fiction, poetry, comics, illustrations, collages, puzzles, games, quizzes, and printable content.
A themed issue of Please Hold is released quarterly. We are currently seeking work related to the theme “maps” to be published in June. Submissions to this issue are due on May 1, 2016.

Call for Art: Eugene EYESOAK, Washington, DC
EugeneEYESOAK is a monthly showcase of contemporary video art and obscure cinema. EE is looking for 2-15 minute entries of original video art. Narrative, documentary, animation, professional reel samples, found footage, music videos, performance art, abstract and experimental forms are all welcome.
Excerpts from longer work are also acceptable, but must be edited to the creator’s ideal upon submission. Videos including music not generated by the creator must also submit proof of permission to use from the musician. The creator retains the copyright of her/his works and may choose to withdraw their work from the screening at any time.
There is no entry fee. In January 2017, one exemplary entry will be awarded The Eugene, a cash prize of $500.
Call for Art: Prism Pop-up Gallery, Granfalloon, Chattanooga, TN

Prism Pop Up Gallery will be displaying art from local artist at the Granfalloon, 400 East Main Street, Suite 120, Chattanooga, TN, from 6pm to 10pm June 7th!
Prism Pop Up Gallery is a one day juried art show, in which the artist chosen for best in show will receive 200 dollars.
Artists must submit 4 examples of their work. Include in image list artist name, a short description of mediums, size (in inches) and preferred predominate color theme.

$2000 in cash prizes. Juror: Alejo Benedetti from Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas. Founded by the Walton Family Foundation, Crystal Bridges’ permanent collection spans five centuries of American masterworks ranging from the Colonial era to the current day. The permanent collection, which continues to grow through a strategic acquisition plan, is on view year-round along with an array of temporary exhibitions. Eligibility: The exhibit is open to all 2D or 3D art, all styles and media are welcome; traditional and alternate media, as well as innovative and experimental approaches accepted. Open to US artist with artwork completed in the last five years.
