Julia Martin Gallery is now accepting artist submissions for the BEVY Summer Group Show Series. JMG is looking for 6 artists for two, 3 person group shows in June and July.

SUBMISSION DETAILS:
  • Please submit 10 – 15 images of current work, made no later than 2014 + Artist Bio/CV
  • Acceptable files: .jpg files no larger than 1mb each, website link, dropbox link to images
  • Please NO links to social media images (instagram, facebook, tumblr)
  • We are accepting 2D, 3D work for this group show, please no photography at this time
  • DEADLINE for submissions is April 15
  • Emerging and mid-career artists welcome

Established in 1988, the Arts at the Airport Foundation is an ever-growing, ever-changing showcase of Tennessee’s cultural heritage and creative talents. The terminal and surrounding facilities at Nashville International Airport were designed to incorporate rotating public art exhibitions and permanent acquisitions for the enjoyment and enrichment of its passengers, visitors and employees.
The Flying Solo Exhibition Series is supported by the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) and is funded under an agreement with the Tennessee Arts Commission (TAC). Honoraria awarded to selected artists for a Flying Solo exhibition range from $500 to $1,000.

The Howard County Arts Council, located in Howard County, Maryland, is seeking up to 12 artists to participate in its 5th Annual Juried Public Art Competition for a temporary outdoor exhibit from August 2016-July 2017. HCAC will provide up to 12 artists with a $2,500 grant to cover the temporary loan, insurance, installation, de-installation, and repairs to selected sculpture. The competition is open to professional visual artists, aged 18 & older, with public art experience commensurate with this project’s scope. KAI LIN ART is having an open call for artists in the Southeast and beyond to participate in its first annual juried works on paper art exhibition, THE NEW SOUTH. This exhibition’s aim is to bring attention to the hub of artistic activity currently happening in the South and to celebrate the largely versatile and exciting medium of paper and the many uses it can facilitate. This competition is open to both established  and emerging artists and will be juried by Savannah College of Art and Design Associate Dean, Dale Clifford, Kai Lin Art Director, Yu-Kai Lin, and artist Jason Kofke.
