Alamance Arts is creating a park environment to serve as an educational and interactive setting for area children. Through child friendly sculptures, sound sculptures, and educational gardens, we will improve the quality of life in our community, as well as inspire the creative minds of area youth.
Alamance Arts is seeking NC, SC, GA, VA, TN , KY and FL artists to integrate permanent sculpture into the design of a new Art Park next to Alamance Arts, the Graham Public Library, and the Children’s Museum of Alamance County. The total art budget is $44,000.
Call for Art: Lee Gallery at Clemson University in Clemson, SC

The Lee Gallery at Clemson University in South Carolina is currently seeking exhibition proposals for solo, group or curated exhibitions for the 2016 – 2017 academic year and beyond. Our goals is to showcase emerging and established artists creating innovative work in all types of media addressing contemporary issues and concerns. As an extension of the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities (CAAH) the Lee Gallery develops programs that reach across the university and out to our community, the state and beyond. Successful proposals will demonstrate quality work that raises thoughtful questions accessible to a broad range of programs and audiences. The gallery is 2000 sq/ft space with a maximum of 150’ of linear wall space.
Call for Exhibition Proposals: Thompson Art Gallery, Furman University, Greenville, SC

The Thompson Art Gallery at Furman University in Greenville, SC invites artists to submit a proposal for solo exhibitions during the 2016-18 academic years. The exhibition space is approximately 900 square feet with solo exhibitions typically running for 4-6 week periods. The gallery committee will consider all media. Work will be insured by the university while on display. Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the artist.
A complete proposal should include an artist statement, CV, 15-20 images (w/title, size, medium, year).

Call for Art: 2016 Bonnaroo Call for Artists at Nashville International Airport, Nashville, TN

The Bonnaroo Works Fund in partnership with Arts at the Airport, are seeking proposals for 5 artistic Bonnaroo-themed displays at the Nashville International Airport in Nashville, Tennessee. The display, which will be suspended from the ceiling from March 14, 2016– January 22, 2017, encompasses 5 skylights located in the airport concourses on the secure side of the terminal. Each selected artist will receive an honorarium of $2,000. The ideal project will be of highest artistic quality (any media) and communicate the Bonnaroo brand to new and familiar audiences through incorporation of the following project elements:
- Creative incorporation of iconic Bonnaroo festival elements. Other examples of iconic elements include the Bonnaroo Arch, Fountain, Fire Tower with Cuckoo Clock, fan atmosphere and the Bonnaroo infinity symbol. Please note the full Bonnaroo brand logo may not be included.
- Display of 2015 location (Manchester, Tennessee)

PNC Pop-In Residency at Artspace

The PNC Pop-In Residency Program at Artspace provides an artist with a month-long studio opportunity to work on a project of his/her choice and to interact with the public and the artist community. It is also an opportunity for an artist to exhibit the work she/he creates immediately following the residency. During the residency period, the artist must engage with the Raleigh community through a collaborative project or through teaching a workshop. More information can be found here.

Call for Art: Arts Council of Southeast Missouri, Cape Girardeau, Missouri

The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri has opened the Call for Artists for their 2015 Regional Juried Exhibit! The two-month exhibition was developed to provide a forum to demonstrate the diversity of this region and the artists who live here and has become one of our favorite annual shows. We encourage artists to submit works that interpret any aspect of the Southeast Missouri region as well as its bordering states. Work must interpret the people, places, or things that are representational of this 5- state region (MO, IL, AR, KY, TN).
